On 28th of August we tested our newest floats on Narew river near Warsaw. After taxiing and pre-rotation tests we did many test flights in order to check the behaviour of the gyro on floats on the water. Two best Polish gyro pilot instructors took part in the tests and they were very satisfied.
New floats are fully maneuverable on the water, they provide stability during takeoffs and landings and they do not affect the control of the gyro during flight. New floats are made of composite structures what makes them very light.
