Vibrodiagnostics of the AAT gyroplanes

MORE COMFORT OF TRAVEL

In order to increase the comfort of aviation travel, AAT engineers and pilots, together with professors of the Lublin University of Technology, conducted vibrodiagnostics of new Aviation Artur Trendak gyroplanes.

Rotor vibration measurement is a standard procedure before delivering the gyroplane to the customer. Measurement of machine vibrations is a very good way to control the correct operation of an aircraft. Sensors using the latest technologies allow for the perfect adjustment of the rotor to each gyroplane and the setting of optimal parameters for the individual needs of the pilot.

To increase the comfort of flight, we conducted measurements for the entire gyroplane to be able to determine the frequency of the vibration level for each component installed in the gyroplane and suppress their occurrence.

VIBRODIAGNOSTICS OF THE AAT GYROPLANES

Eleven sensors were deployed in the gyroplane, which at the same time registered the vibration level on a given component. The test results allowed for the development of new solutions that will be introduced to the AAT gyroplanes.

At the same time, vibration tests confirmed the reliability of the use of double tail pipes, which eliminate vibrations in the gyroplane and enable much greater maneuverability during the flight.
